These are the material benefits of wealth. Yes, I enjoy the status of ownership and appreciate the creature comforts provided by luxury goods. So will you. Yes, I look forward to our many vacations, and to being pampered by attentive staff. But this is the trivial part of wealth and certainly not motivation enough for me to devote my life to becoming rich.
